"Noise pollutes everything" wowww, I've never thought of it like that but it's such a perfect statement that exemplifies exactly how it feels

What a beautiful article! And also what a curious term of “Wintering”. I had not heard it before!

It instantly made me think about the incredible “deafness” and sound (almost) muffling that snow emits or permits. If it’s snowing you can’t hear much around you. And after the fallen snow, there is a silence that is so incredibly peaceful (despite the impact on your body of the freezing temperature!).

This touched me deeply:

“This was until God came along and removed me from it, with His promise that He will restore. This may take a season, but all I had to do was commit to this quest for quiet.”

In the silence so much is healed, and revealed. I too seek silence, and truly need it to connect with my Creator but also to connect with myself, check in, and calibrate with my flow.

I appreciate this article greatly. Thank you for allowing me to be here with you 🙏✨
